Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received the Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, at the Presidential Palace in Ankara. The visit is aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, discussions during the meeting covered regional and international developments, as well as ways to bolster economic and trade relations between the two countries. Cooperation in security and military fields was also a key agenda item. The talks addressed the situation in Libya and the efforts being made by the government to achieve stability and development. President Erdogan affirmed Turkey’s support for these efforts and emphasized the importance of cooperation in addressing regional and international challenges.
Dabaiba highlighted the significance of strengthening the strategic partnership with Turkey, noting that bilateral cooperation is crucial for sustainable development in Libya. He expressed appreciation for Turkey’s support in various areas, particularly in political and economic domains.
Accompanying Dabaiba on this visit was Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi. Al-Lafi participated in discussions aimed at enhancing communication channels between the two countries.
