Turkish Interior Minister Announces Recovery of Black Box from Plane Crash Near Ankara

Ankara: The Turkish Interior Minister has announced the discovery of the black box of the plane carrying Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Haddad, which crashed yesterday near the capital, Ankara.

According to Libyan News Agency, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed the recovery of the bodies of the victims and the black box of the ill-fated plane carrying Libyan Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Haddad. The announcement was made during a press conference held at the crash site.

Minister Yerlikaya stated, "The bodies of the victims have been found and transferred to the forensic medicine department for the necessary and standard procedures. We extend our condolences to the Libyan side and to the families of the victims."

He also mentioned that Libya has dispatched a team of approximately 29 people to participate in the investigations into the plane crash.
