Damascus: The Syrian Ministry of Defense expresses its deepest condolences on the death of Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Haddad and his companions. The Syrian Ministry of Defense extended its heartfelt condolences to the Libyan Ministry of Defense following the tragic death of the Libyan Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Haddad, and his delegation in a military plane crash in Turkey.

According to Libyan News Agency, a statement from the Syrian Ministry of Defense, as reported by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), conveyed deep sorrow over the incident. The ministry expressed its solidarity with the Libyan Ministry of Defense, acknowledging the profound loss stemming from the crash of the Libyan military plane in Turkey.

The statement further expressed the ministry's condolences and sympathies to the Ministry of Defense of Libya, emphasizing its support for the families of the deceased. The ministry also offered prayers for mercy for the departed and wished patience and solace for their grieving families.
