Tripoli Kicks Off 85th Anniversary Celebrations of Libyan Army

Tripoli: Celebrations marking the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Libyan Army began at the Military College in Tripoli on Monday evening. The event was graced by the presence of Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Minister of Defense.

According to Libyan News Agency, the celebration saw the attendance of Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, along with commanders of military regions. Numerous officers and soldiers from the military establishment were also present, accompanied by a large crowd of citizens and parents of newly graduated students from military colleges.

The celebration included a graduation ceremony for students from military colleges, academies, and the Military Technical Institute. This significant event was held at the headquarters of the Military College in Tripoli, emphasizing the importance of military education and the development of future leaders within the Libyan Army.
