Tripoli: Today, the Tripoli Criminal Court issued a verdict against three defendants for engaging in a criminal gang whose members deliberately transported illegal immigrants and hid them in a harsh living environment that caused the death of some of them.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Attorney General’s Office stated that the Tripoli Criminal Court ruled in its last session to convict the defendants, sentencing two of them to thirteen years in prison and the third to fifteen years in prison. The court fined them all ten thousand dinars and permanently deprived them of their civil rights.
