Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture participates in the international conference on Building and Construction in the US

Tripoli -The Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture hosted an expanded Libyan-American meeting, within the framework of following up the ongoing preparations for the Chamber’s participation in the International Conference on Building and Construction and the accompanying exhibition, that will be held in the USA during the period from 17-19 January 2023.

The meeting ,via video, participated by the American delegation that included Head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Libya ,Debbie Hearst, Regional Trade President at the US Department of Commerce, Kit Care Cam, Executive Officer of the American Chamber of Commerce for Africa and America, Joy Vera Yao, and Economic Officer At the US Embassy in Libya ,Pedro Campo.

During the meeting, arrangements were discussed for the participation of the Libyan delegation in the activities of the conference ,the accompanying exhibition, and Libyan businessmen affiliated with the Chamber, and organizing bilateral meetings with the economic and commercial institutions participating in the conference, with the aim of enhancing the role of the local private sector at the regional and international level, reactivating investment and industry sectors, and finding foreign markets for the local product.

The meeting included Chairman of the Management Committee of the Tripoli Chamber ,Anwar Abu Sitta, Director of the Private Sector Development and Investment Department at the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Musa Al-Zoubik, Dean of the Tripoli Municipality Center, Ibrahim Al-Khulaifi, members of the Chamber’s Management Committee and a number of businessmen affiliated the chamber .
