US Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall called on the US authorities to intensify preparations for a possible military confrontation with China.
This came according to what was reported by The Hill newspaper, where he continued: “Our mission is to contain this war and prepare for victory if it occurs, and we are all talking about the need to reform the space air forces, otherwise we may not be able to and we may lose the war.”
The Minister called on the United States to prepare for the type of war with which it has no recent experience, and according to him, war could break out "if American military capabilities are insufficient to deter Chinese aggression against Taiwan."
Kendall explained that the People's Republic of China is building its army in preparation for a possible armed conflict with the United States. Beijing has created two new types of forces: one to strike aircraft and airports, and another to serve strategic support for information dominance in space and cyberspace.
He continued: “China has been improving its superpower capabilities for more than 20 years to defeat the United States in the Western Pacific.”
