Tripoli: The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manfi, received the credentials of the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Libya, Mohammed Habibullah, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, during an official ceremony held at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli on Saturday, marking the official commencement of his diplomatic duties.
According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Manfi welcomed the Bangladeshi Ambassador, wishing him success in his mission and affirming Libya's commitment to strengthening friendly relations and cooperation with the People's Republic of Bangladesh, in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries and supports prospects for bilateral partnership in various fields.
For his part, Ambassador Mohammad Habibullah conveyed the greetings of his country's leadership to the Chairman of the Council, stressing the keenness of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to push bilateral relations towards broader horizons of cooperation and coordination, in a way that fulfills the aspirations of the two friendly peoples and enhances stability and development.
