Tripoli: Minister of State for Prime Minister and Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed Ben Ghalbon, met yesterday with the EU Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, to discuss a number of issues of common interest. According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting addressed procedures taken by the Government of National Unity to tackle the issue of irregular migration. Additionally, they explored ways to support the military institution to enhance security and stability within Libya, as well as bolster development efforts. The discussions also focused on prospects for developing cooperation between Libya and the EU. Both parties expressed interest in strengthening existing partnerships across various areas to serve their common interests.
