The Presidential Council and the state are discussing uniting efforts to hold parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.

The President of the Presidential Council, "Muhammad Al-Manfi", met this evening, Monday, in Tripoli, the second vice-president of the High Council of the State, "Omar Al-Obeidi."

The meeting dealt - according to the Presidential Media Office - advancing the political process in Libya, and strengthening the role of the High Council in order to unify efforts to hold parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.
