Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, hosted a meeting with Ara Abramyan, Chairman of the Information and International Cooperation Committee of the Russian Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations and Chairman of the Russian-Libyan Business Council. The meeting, which took place on Wednesday, was also attended by key figures such as the Libyan Ambassador to Russia, Mohammed Al-Maghrawi, the official in charge of the Russia desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Russian Ambassador to Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing cooperation between Libya and Russia across various sectors of mutual interest. The primary focus was on bolstering economic and investment partnerships, alongside developing mechanisms to improve coordination between the public and private sectors in both nations.
The meeting also addressed several bilateral cooperation files and explored new avenues for coordination. The goal is to expand areas of cooperation, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and fortify common interests between Libya and Russia.
