Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani announced the arrival of the tanker Sumer to Khor Al-Zubair port of in Basra.
His media office quoted him as saying today in a statement: “The tanker Sumer was built according to one of the specifications and has a capacity of more than 200,000 barrels per day,” indicating that he will work to restore the tanker company to leadership in owning large tankers for exporting petroleum products.
He added, “Today we are meeting to announce the tanker’s entry into service, and we will work to support the national economy through the Oil Tanker Company.”
