Minister of Industry Explores Collaboration with Chinese Delegation on Struggling Companies

Tripoli: The Minister of Industry and Minerals in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Abdelkader, recently engaged in discussions with a Chinese delegation in Tripoli to explore potential partnerships and address the challenges faced by struggling companies.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on assessing the current situation of these companies and exploring solutions for their rehabilitation. Discussions included the use of advanced Chinese technology to convert existing challenges into viable investment projects. The dialogue also covered water security, with both parties considering the establishment of seawater desalination plants and reviewing the alignment of Chinese expertise with the Ministry's future strategies.

The meeting concluded with both parties stressing the importance of sustained communication to further explore these opportunities, aiming to build a mutual understanding that supports future partnerships and aligns with the aspirations of the industrial sector.
