Baghdad, The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, discussed with the President of UNICEF, Sandra Lattouf, the most prominent ministerial plans and curricula drawn up for training programs and reducing school dropout for this year and subsequent years in accordance with the National Strategy for Education, in a step aimed at achieving integration within the educational system and establishing educational rules to the righteousness of scientific sobriety.
The Ministry of Education stated in a statement that the meeting included a discussion of the topics of the projects implemented and under implementation, in addition to Lattouf’s presenting the organization’s readiness to cooperate in order to obtain international support for education in Iraq during the New York summit scheduled to be held next September.
It is noteworthy that the meeting took place today, in the presence of the Undersecretary for Scientific Affairs, Mahdi Al-Awadi, the Director-General of Educational Planning, Duraid Al-Hayali
, and the Director-General of Cultural Relations, Majeed Al-Shammari.
