Today, Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted unanimously to designate Counselor “Miftah Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Qawi” as President of the Supreme Judicial Council, according to the Council’s spokesman, “Abdullah Blehaq.”
This came during the session held today in the city of Benghazi, chaired by the President of the Council, “Aqeela Saleh,” and in the presence of his first deputies, “Fawzi Al-Nuwairi” and the second, “Misbah Doma.”
The Council also voted – according to Blehaq – unanimously to amend Article 1 of Law No. 11 of 2021 regarding the judicial system.
