Sabha: The National Development Authority has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a Turkish company to advance development and housing projects in the city of Sabha. This agreement represents an effort to bolster sustainable development and improve urban and service planning in the area. According to Libyan News Agency, the MoU was formalized by the Director General of the National Development Authority and Jamal Ankaroglu, representing the Turkish firm. The agreement focuses on conducting technical studies and planning for various projects, including the completion of the Hindiya housing project and the refurbishment of the Jarma Sabha Hotel, previously known as the Africa Hotel. These projects are expected to adhere to contemporary scientific and technical standards, aligning with local development needs. The National Development Authority highlighted that the Turkish company is tasked with presenting a detailed technical proposal within sixty days. This proposal will outline the phases and timelines for project completion. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to engage with international partners and leverage global expertise, contributing to the realization of Libya Vision 2030 by converting strategic development goals into actionable projects.
