Baghdad: The Communications and Media Commission has declared a 30-day ban on political analyst Khaled Abu Iraq from appearing in all Iraqi media outlets. This decision was made public today, highlighting the Commission’s stance on maintaining broadcasting standards.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commission’s official document cited that Khaled Abu Iraq’s statements during a television interview breached media broadcasting regulations. The violations pertain to issues of “decency, and public taste,” “false and hidden material,” and “accuracy, integrity, and transparency in conveying information.” The Commission’s decision reflects its commitment to upholding these standards in Iraqi media.
