The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces chairs a meeting of security and military leadership and formations in Babylon Governorate

The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired, this afternoon, Thursday, a meeting of the security and military leadership and formations in Babylon Governorate, in the presence of the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed, according to a statement by his media office, the need for security work to be integrated with service work and development and economic projects implemented by the government, or investment projects that need a safe environment and societal stability.

Al-Sudani stressed that proceeding with reconstruction projects and services is linked to security, stressing the necessity of unifying efforts related to security and intelligence information because of the importance this matter represents in maintaining security, saving effort, preventing any security breach or transgression, and anticipating and confronting all security challenges. His Excellency also directed that citizens be dealt with
in a decent manner that reflects the bright face of the state and its laws based on respect for human rights.
