European Union Ambassador Mourns Loss of Libyan Military Leaders

Tripoli: The European Union Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic accident that claimed the lives of Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, and his companions: Lieutenant General Al-Fitouri Ghraibil, Brigadier General Mahmoud Al-Qatawi, Mohammed Al-Asawi Diab, and Mohammed Omar Mahjoub. Ambassador Orlando conveyed his condolences on his Twitter account.

According to Libyan News Agency, Ambassador Orlando said in a tweet, "On behalf of the European Union Delegation, I extend my deepest condolences and sympathies. We stand in solidarity with the families of the victims, the State of Libya, the Libyan Armed Forces, the Libyan people, and all those affected by this tragic loss."

Orlando praised the dedicated national service of Lieutenant General Al-Haddad and his companions, expressing his sincere sympathy and support during this difficult time.
