Tripoli: The Social Affairs Department in Surman has issued a call to action for residents impacted by the violent clashes on August 4, urging them to complete necessary damage assessment procedures. Citizens whose properties, including homes, vehicles, shops, and workshops, suffered damage are encouraged to reach out to the Damage Assessment and Documentation Committee to finalize the registration of their losses.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Surman branch of the Ministry of Social Affairs emphasized the ongoing efforts of the committee to assist affected individuals who have yet to report their damages. The committee is actively working on compiling comprehensive lists and data to present to relevant authorities for further action.
The department has outlined specific requirements for the damage registration process. Affected individuals need to provide a report or statement from the police station overseeing damage assessments, proof of ownership of the damaged property, proof of identity, and photographs of the damage, if available, to ensure a thorough and precise evaluation.
The branch highlighted the significance of submitting accurate information and cooperating fully with the committee to expedite the damage assessment and documentation process. This initiative aims to ensure that all affected parties receive the necessary support and resources to recover from the incident.
