Dbeibah Addresses Security Concerns in Expanded Government Meeting

Tripoli: Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Abdulhamid Dbeibah of the Government of National Unity convened an expanded meeting on Monday to address the latest security developments in the country. The meeting included key figures such as Interior Minister Major General Emad Al-Tarabulsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Lieutenant General Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Salah Al-Din Al-Namroush, and other high-ranking officials from various military and security agencies.

According to Libyan News Agency, the discussion focused on the current security climate and strategies to enhance readiness and coordination among military and security institutions. The objective is to improve their capacity to respond to potential challenges and ensure the safety of citizens, along with the protection of critical infrastructure.

During the meeting, Dbeibah emphasized the importance of addressing any threats or actions that could jeopardize security or damage crucial installations. He called for firm measures to be taken against such activities and underscored the necessity of improving coordination and preparedness across different agencies to maintain stability.
