Minister of Social Solidarity Nevin Al-Qabbaj, received Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas, and Salih Mutlu Sen, Turkish Ambassador in Cairo, and their accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of aspects of cooperation between the two ministries and the exchange of experiences in the fields of social safety nets, care and rehabilitation programs for persons with disabilities, alternative care and the elderly, women’s empowerment, productive families, and what is related to the field of marketing and exhibitions.
They also discussed civil society institutions and volunteer work, within the framework of preparing a memorandum between the two ministries includes aspects of cooperation in a number of joint social work areas.
