Cairo: The city of Sirte is set to host the inaugural conference of Libyan political parties on Wednesday and Thursday. The event, taking place at the Reconstruction and Development Auditorium at Sirte University, will focus on "Political Parties' Visions for Addressing the Libyan Crisis."
According to Libyan News Agency, the organizers describe the conference as a national gathering aimed at uniting political parties and forces to discuss strategies and proposals for supporting national dialogue and resolving the Libyan crisis.
The organizers further emphasized that the conference's goal is to facilitate dialogue and the exchange of ideas among political entities, thereby improving the chances of reaching consensus on national matters and supporting efforts towards political solutions that promote stability.
The conference is being held amidst ongoing national efforts to foster dialogue among different parties and explore initiatives to overcome the crisis, seeking a unified national vision that supports the path to stability in Libya.
