Session of talks between the Prime Minister and the Qatari Prime Minister was devoted to working to develop economic and investment relations, and to activate a number of agreements.

Doha, The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid Al-Dbaiba”, held Thursday evening in the Qatari capital, an expanded session of talks with the Qatari Prime Minister, Sheikh “Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani”.

The expanded session of talks was attended by the delegation accompanying the prime minister, which includes the governor of the Central Bank of Libya and the head of the Libyan Investment Corporation, as well as a number of ministers in the Qatari government.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated today that the talks were devoted to working to develop economic and investment relations between the two countries, and to activate a number of agreements that were suspended for various reasons.

They also discussed what was agreed upon between the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and the Emir of the State of Qatar, the most important of which was the holding of a technical meeting between the General Electricity Company and the Qatar Electricity and Water Company, to study the possibility of cooperation between the two institutions, as well as encouraging and supporting investment in Libya through the establishment of a number of projects.
