Tripoli: The Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, held a meeting at the Authority's headquarters in Tripoli with Mohammed Bin Ghalbon, the Minister of State for Prime Ministerial and Cabinet Affairs. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the performance of public entities and the execution level of government decisions and programs.
According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions centered around how well public entities and sectors comply with legislation, regulations, and controls that govern administrative work. They also discussed the monitoring of government decisions' implementation and the advancement of government programs and projects.
A key focus of the meeting was on the mechanisms for overseeing the implementation of development and service projects within the country, with a special emphasis on the health sector. The stages of project contract implementation were reviewed to ensure timeliness, regulatory compliance, and adherence to approved procedures. Measures to tackle issues affecting workflow or potential hindrances to achieving objectives were also discussed.
The head of the authority stressed the significance of following the directives from oversight bodies and utilizing monitoring results to guide decision-making. This approach aims to address observations, ensure the effective management of public resources and funds, enhance institutional performance, and contribute to meeting government objectives and serving the public interest.
