President Tebboune receives the credentials of Libya’s new Ambassador to Algeria.

Algiers, 20 October 2022 (Lana) Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Wednesday received the credentials of Libya’s new Ambassador to Algeria Salah Humma Mohamed.

The Algerian presidency said on its SMS page that the credentials handover event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtan Lamamra, and the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Abdelaziz Khalaf.

During the handover of his credentials, the new Ambassador to Algeria underscored the deep historical relations between Libya and Algeria.

Humma, according to the Algerian news agency APS, said that President Tebboune, assured him of his “full support for Libya, the legitimacy of the elections and his support for the development of trade and economic exchange between the two countries.”
