Tripoli, The President of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Manfi,” received this Wednesday morning in Tripoli, a delegation from the Independent Strategic Review Committee of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, which is conducting an independent strategic review of the mission’s work, headed by Abdoulaye Batili.
During the meeting, the delegation commended the achievements of the Presidential Council during the past months, especially with regard to launching the reconciliation project, efforts to complete the unification of institutions, and a ceasefire, praising the role of the President of the Council in achieving stability in Libya.
The head of the delegation, “Bateli” stressed that the aim of the meeting is to listen to the observations of the Presidential Council, in order to continue working on developing the work of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya and evaluating its various activities.
The President of the Presidential Council valued the efforts of the UN mission’s work, praising what has been accomplished and making a number of essential observations about its work.
