The establishment of spatial information infrastructure is an important tool for developing comprehensive planning and making sustainable development strategies, Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala El Said said. The minister's remarks came on Tuesday16/1/2024 during her visit to the Planning Ministry-affiliated National Center for Spatial Information Infrastructure (NSDI) to follow up on the progress of its work in the presence of respective officials. She pointed out that the establishment of spatial information infrastructure also contributes to taking decisions based on accurate information, in addition to following up the implementation of these decisions effectively. El Said added that her ministry works on carrying out a national project to enhance the integration of spatial information infrastructure and develop governmental services.
