Tripoli: The Head of the Passports, Nationality, and Foreigners Affairs Authority recently met with the Pakistani Ambassador to address challenges faced by the Pakistani community in Libya. This meeting, held at the Authority’s headquarters in Salah al-Din, Tripoli, focused on discussing the legal status of the Pakistani residents.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting reviewed the various difficulties and obstacles confronting the Pakistani community, seeking ways to ensure their rights and safety under the prevailing laws and regulations. The discussions aimed at finding solutions to improve the living conditions and legal standing of the Pakistani nationals residing in Libya.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Pakistani Ambassador expressed gratitude towards the Passports Authority for their dedication in addressing the community’s concerns and resolving the issues they encounter. The meeting was also attended by key officials, including the Director of the Passport Investigations Department, the Director of the Passport Control Affairs Department at the Ports, and the Head of the Relations Office at the Authority.
The Ministry of Interior has previously highlighted the importance of maintaining continuous dialogue with foreign communities to effectively address their issues and surmount the challenges they face.
