According to Libyan News Agency, in a statement published on its official website and accompanied by video, the Embassy congratulated Benghazi University on the occasion of its reopening ceremony, wishing students and members of the faculty success in the new phase.

The Embassy described the occasion as an 'exceptional and hopeful evening' organized by the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, stressing the importance of the new phase in promoting knowledge, innovation, and cooperation.

It noted that France had previously supported mine-clearance operations at the university site in 2018 and 2019, following the damage it sustained during the war.
