New Transformer Successfully Operational at Ragdalin Station to Boost Grid Stability

Tripoli: The Electricity Company has announced the successful operation of a new transformer at the Ragdalin station, aimed at enhancing grid stability in the region. The General Electricity Company reported that technical teams from the West Coast Administration completed the testing and commissioning of the new iron transformer at the Ragdalin 11/30 kV station late last night, after continuous efforts.

According to Libyan News Agency, the company detailed in a post on its official page that the testing process concluded with the successful charging of the new transformer with electrical voltage. An additional phase of under-voltage testing is expected to be completed in the coming hours, which is a preparatory step for its full loading.

The company highlighted that this development will directly contribute to the stability of the electricity grid and improve distribution efficiency in the region. Furthermore, it confirmed that electricity will be supplied to citizens immediately upon completion of all final technical tests.
