President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, congratulated the Mandaeans in Iraq and the world, on the occasion of the Mandaean New Year.
Barzani wrote, in a tweet that he posted on his personal account on Twitter: "Warmest congratulations and blessings to our Mandaean Sabean brothers inside and outside the country on the occasion of the Mandaean New Year."
The head of the region expressed his hope for this community, "a happy Eid, and that it will return to everyone with goodness and blessings, and that it will be an incentive to consolidate the principles of tolerance and coexistence among all components of the country."/ End
