National Unity Government Reviews Progress on Strategic Projects Across Sectors

Tripoli: An expanded meeting of the National Unity Government was held to follow up on the implementation of strategic projects. The committee tasked with monitoring these projects and the Prime Minister's initiatives convened its annual meeting, focusing on the plan for 2026, which includes approximately 100 strategic projects and initiatives across various sectors.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting assessed the readiness of these projects and initiatives, confirming their preparedness for official launch and public opening. It approved final implementation timelines and monitored performance indicators to ensure the achievement of targeted results and the delivery of services. The meeting emphasized strengthening coordination among implementing entities and maximizing the utilization of available resources. Relevant parties were directed to adhere to approved implementation plans, accelerate the pace of completion, and closely monitor implementation phases to ensure continuous progress.

Representatives from numerous authorities and companies, including the Administrative Centers Development and Improvement Authority, the Transportation Projects Implementation Authority, and the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Authority, participated in the meeting. Other participants included the Development Fund, Zumurud Company, Al-Andalus Tourism Investment Company, the General Electricity Company, the Great Man-Made River Project Implementation and Management Authority, the Roads and Bridges Authority, the National Well Drilling Authority, the Ministry of Health, and various other government entities.
