Moussa Al-Koni Urges Government Action on Teachers’ Demands

Beirut: Moussa Al-Koni, a member of the Presidential Council, has urged the government to address the demands of teachers.

According to Libyan News Agency, he emphasized the need for the government to remain in continuous session until these demands are met.

Al-Koni's remarks were made in a post on the X platform to commemorate World Teachers' Day, which is observed today, Monday, October 5. He highlighted that UNESCO's theme for this year focuses on improving the conditions of 107 million teachers worldwide.

He expressed his disappointment that the teachers' movement in Libya has not yet received a response, emphasizing the importance of the government taking action to fulfill teachers' expectations.
