Ministry of Health and UNICEF Collaborate to Boost Public Health in Libya by 2026

Tripoli: The Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity in Libya has partnered with UNICEF to enhance public health across the country by 2026. The collaboration was formalized through the signing of UNICEF’s Action Plan for 2026 by Acting Minister of Health Mohamed Al-Ghouj and UNICEF Representative in Libya Mohamed Fayyadi.

According to Libyan News Agency, the joint action plan outlines various programs and projects focusing on maternal and child health services. The initiative aims to strengthen the health sector’s capacity and improve public health indicators. This collaboration aligns with the Ministry of Health’s priorities and its ongoing efforts to advance health services in Libya over the coming years.
