Baghdad: Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari discussed with South Korean Ambassador Lee Joo-Nil enhancing coordination in training, especially in drug control.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Ministry of Interior indicated that Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari met in his office with the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Iraq, Lee Joo-Nil, along with his delegation. They addressed a number of topics of mutual interest, with a strong emphasis on strengthening cooperation between the two nations.
The discussions focused on enhancing coordination in training, particularly in drug control, as well as exploring other security areas. The Minister highlighted the Iraqi Ministry of Interior’s commitment to building robust relations with its counterparts in friendly countries and sharing expertise.
Ambassador Lee Joo-Nil commended the considerable efforts of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior in combating crime and expressed his dedication to strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iraq and South Korea.
