Death Toll Rises Amid Ongoing Conflict in Gaza

Gaza city: The death toll from the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,192 martyrs and 157,114 wounded since the conflict began on October 7, 2023. Hospitals in the region continue to grapple with the influx of casualties as the violence persists.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that in the past 24 hours alone, hospitals received 70 martyrs and 356 wounded. The ministry highlighted that the death toll from the Zionist entity’s violation of the ceasefire agreement on March 18 has reached 10,646 martyrs and 45,073 wounded.

Additionally, the ongoing food aid crisis has led to 2,036 deaths and 15,046 injuries. In the past 24 hours, 18 martyrs and 117 injured people were admitted to hospitals due to this crisis. The ministry also reported two recent deaths due to starvation and malnutrition, increasing the total number of famine victims to 271, including 112 children.

Efforts to rescue those trapped under rubble remain difficult, as ambulances and civil defense teams face obstacles in reaching the victims. The humanitarian situation continues to worsen with each passing day.
