Tripoli 12 January 2023 (Lana) GNU- Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Haweij, discussed with Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment ,Mohammed Al-Mazrouei, on Tuesday, in Tripoli, investment opportunities in Libya in agricultural area, due to its role in the economic development and food security.
During the meeting, Al-Haweij referred to the investment map implemented by the General Authority for Investment Promotion and Privatization Affairs affiliated to the Ministry of Economy and Trade, which encourages the local and foreign investors to search for investment opportunities in Libya, especially that Law No. 9 of 2010 encourages the investment of national and foreign capitals to establish projects within the framework of state policies, which helps in increasing the diversity of sources of income.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Studies Department, the Director of the Investment Department, and the Director of the Relations Department of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development.
