Tripoli: The Ministry of Economy of the Government of National Unity has urged suppliers and exporters involved in the Libyan market to register in the new digital trade system, known as the PTS system. This initiative targets importers, exporters, and shipping companies, requiring them to begin the registration process in the unified digital system for trade within the Libyan Trade Network.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry emphasized that this registration is a step towards enhancing transparency and developing the digital work system for foreign trade operations. This move is part of the implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 637 of 2024, which involves the establishment of regulations governing transactions of the Libyan Trade Network.
The Ministry’s statement underlined the necessity for all companies operating within the specified field to comply with the registration mechanism provided in the digital system. Companies are directed to register through the portal at https://pts.Itnet.gov.ly and the link https://e-trade.Itnet.gov.ly, effective from January 15.
