Tripoli: The House Defense and National Security Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee have expressed their condolences following the tragic death of Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, Lieutenant General Al-Fitouri Ghraibil, and their companions in a plane crash in Turkey.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Defense and National Security Committee issued a statement expressing profound sorrow upon hearing the news. The committee extended its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Libyan Armed Forces, acknowledging the loss of a dedicated leader who served with integrity during challenging times. The statement emphasized Lieutenant General Al-Haddad's commitment to national values and prioritizing the nation's supreme interest.
The Defense Committee also conveyed its condolences to the Joint Military Commission (55) on the loss of Lieutenant General Al-Fitouri Ghraibil, recognizing his contributions to the military. The committee offered its sympathies to the families and comrades of the deceased.
Furthermore, the Foreign Affairs Committee shared its deepest sorrow and condolences to the Libyan Armed Forces over the passing of General Al-Haddad and his companions.
