Erdogan Offers Condolences to Dabaiba on Libyan Chief of Staff’s Death

Ankara: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, received condolences from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the death of Libyan Chief of Staff Mohammed al-Haddad and his companions in a plane crash while returning from Ankara.

According to Libyan News Agency, this was conveyed during a phone call on Wednesday, where Erdogan expressed his sorrow and condolences for the Libyan Chief of Staff, Mohammed al-Haddad, who was killed along with four companions in a plane crash. The crash occurred as they were returning from Ankara.

The Turkish President affirmed Turkey's sympathy and support for Libya in this humanitarian situation, expressing solidarity with the families of the deceased and with the Libyan people, and wishing them patience and solace.

The call also covered the latest developments regarding the incident, with confirmation of continued monitoring and coordination between the relevant authorities in both countries. There was also an emphasis on cooperation with the Libyan delegation dispatched to follow up on the related procedures.
