Tripoli: The Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad, has expressed his commitment to measures aimed at safeguarding Libya’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. This statement was made during his meeting with Hanna Tetteh, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya, and members of her mission.
According to Libyan News Agency, Tetteh commended Al-Haddad’s efforts in resolving disputes to foster stability and peace in the region. She also highlighted the potential role of the United Nations in supporting Libya and assisting its citizens in fulfilling their goals for stability and development.
