Libyan Army Chief Stresses Implementation of Sirte Meeting Decisions

Sirte:The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, General Dr. Salah al-Din al-Namroush, has highlighted the need to implement the agreements reached during a recent gathering of branch chiefs of staff in Sirte.

According to Libyan News Agency, General al-Namroush made this statement during a Wednesday meeting with the Chiefs of Staff of the Air Force, Air Defense, and Navy. The purpose was to review the outcomes of their previous meeting in Sirte.

The chiefs provided a briefing on the meeting's proceedings, discussions, and the joint issues addressed. They reported a spirit of responsibility and mutual understanding, agreeing to maintain open communication and coordination between the parties involved.

Al-Namroush praised the meeting's outcomes and stressed the importance of putting the discussions into action. He also acknowledged the UN mission's role in facilitating dialogue and addressing challenges in unifying Libya's military institutions.
