LEBANESE PRESS SYNDICATE CALLS FOR NEWSPAPERS TO CLOSE ON SUNDAY MAY 26 IN OBSERVANCE OF “RESISTANCE AND LIBERATION DAY”

The Lebanese Press Syndicate issued a statement on Wednesday announcing that "Saturday, May 25, 2024, marks Resistance and Liberation Day, consequently, newspapers are requested to compensate by closing on Sunday, May 26, 2024, instead of Saturday, May 25, in accordance with the decisions of the Press and Editors Syndicates, the unions of printing workers, distribution companies, and the Graphic Designers Syndicate in Lebanon,|' the statement read.
