Tripoli: Law enforcement authorities have issued a 24-hour eviction notice to the occupants of a property in Fashloom, citing illegal occupation.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Law Enforcement Department of the General Directorate of Security Operations announced the eviction deadline on Wednesday, acting under the directives of the Public Prosecutor of Tripoli.

The property, located in the Jami’ al-Saq’a – Wasa’aya Badri area, spans 476.44 square meters as detailed in certification booklet No. 30496/T. The department emphasized that the property would be returned to its rightful owner once the eviction deadline passes.

Previously, the department had extended a grace period to the occupants due to exceptional circumstances in Tripoli. However, the ongoing illegal occupation prompted the implementation of legal measures. The department reiterated its dedication to upholding the law and safeguarding private property, ensuring that all actions align with approved legal guidelines and are overseen by judicial authorities.
