Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, inaugurated the 11th Career Day event organised by the University of Applied Sciences (ASU), in the presence of Dr. Waheeb Ahmed Al Khaja, Chairman of the ASU, and Hatem Al Masri, President of the University and Academic Staff in the Department of Business Administration.

Fifty-two institutions and companies from public and private sectors are participating in the Career Day, aiming at familiarising university students with the job opportunities available in the labour market, and providing guidance to individuals in choosing the specialisations needed in the job market.

Humaidan praised the university’s annual event, highlighting the role of educational institutions in supplying the labour market with skilled graduates. He emphasised the importance of adapting curricula to meet the needs of the job market, ensuring that education quality aligns with the future demands in Bahrain’s various domains.

Al Masri highlighted the significance of strengthening
collaboration among the relevant organizations to provide professional guidance to the university’s students in selecting their study majors and ensure their integration into the private sector.
