Tripoli: The head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalin, hosted Major General Emad Al-Tarabulsi, the Minister of Interior of the Government of National Accord (GNA), for discussions in Ankara. Their meeting focused on various security and intelligence concerns that impact both Turkey and Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry of Interior stated that the agenda included discussions on enhancing cooperation between the security and intelligence agencies of both countries. The goal of these discussions is to tackle mutual security challenges, ensure stability, and foster the interests of both nations.
In addition to meeting Trabelsi, Kalin also engaged with Lieutenant General Abdul Salam Al-Zubi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense of the GNA. Their talks centered on the latest developments in Libya, mutual interests, and the political process. They also focused on efforts to unify Libya's military institution, aiming to bolster the unity of state institutions and advance the comprehensive settlement process.
