Tripoli: The municipality of Zawiya West has announced the immediate commencement of procedures to assess the damage caused by the recent clashes. The Municipality of Zawiya West has called on citizens affected by the recent events and clashes in the municipality to go to the municipal headquarters as soon as possible to enable the Damage and Property Assessment Committee to register and document the damage to their properties.
According to Libyan News Agency, a statement issued today by the municipality explained that this step comes in the wake of the tragic events that occurred in the municipality, which resulted in material damage to the properties of a number of citizens. The municipality confirmed that the Damage and Property Assessment Committee has begun receiving those affected, urging all those affected to promptly visit the municipality to complete the damage assessment procedures according to the approved protocols.
