Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, held a meeting with Nicola Orlando, the European Union Ambassador to Libya, to discuss the avenues for enhancing cooperation between Libya and the European Union. The discussions focused on strengthening and developing the partnership to serve the mutual interests of both parties. According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Baour provided an overview of the latest political developments in Libya, highlighting ongoing efforts to improve security, stability, and advance the political process in line with the aspirations of the Libyan people. Ambassador Orlando reiterated the European Union's support for initiatives aimed at achieving stability in Libya. He emphasized the EU's commitment to maintaining cooperation with Libya across multiple sectors. Both parties agreed on the significance of sustained consultations and coordination on issues of mutual interest.
