House of Representatives visits Amsaad border crossing post and Security Directorate

Tripoli- A delegation from the House of Representatives was briefed on the difficulties and obstacles impeding work at Amsaad border crossing point with Egypt and Security Directorate, and ways to address them.

This came during the visit of the delegation, which includes Moftah Al-Shaeri, Adel Mahfouz, Mohamed Doma, Mohamed Tamer, and Ali Al-Sul to the post and the directorate, where they were received by a number of officials, the acting mayor of the municipality of Amsaad, notables and sheikhs of the region.

The House of Representatives delegation also examined the background of the destruction of the passport of a Libyan citizen at the border crossing on the Egyptian side, and the citizens’ complaints about the treatment of Libyan travelers.

According to the official website of the House of Representatives on Facebook, the Representatives were also briefed during the visit on the needs of the municipality of Amsaad in the areas of health, roads and other service areas of interest to the citizen.
